First and foremost, I consider art a healing process and wellness routine. As a self-taught artist, art became a thing I needed in my own journey to wholeness. Just last year, I took a leap of faith and began to share my art with others and found it even more healing to do so. I consider each piece I make a lesson learned to continue to improve. I enjoy working with a number of mediums including acrylics, paper, textured paints, acrylic inks, pastels, and alcohol inks. My goal is for each piece I make to capture a feeling both for me as the artist and others as the viewer.
When I am not in the studio, you can find me spending time with my husband and two beautiful young girls who I hope to inspire to be creative in their own joy of expression. Thank you for stopping by. I'd love to hear from you.
Take care and stay creative!
~Sarah
